He believes that the clear and sulfur-smelling water, on which visitors can walk, is good for some skin diseases.

INTEREST IS RISING

Honaz Mayor Yüksel Kepenek, who made a statement about the cave that Anadolu Agency (AA) viewed with an FPV drone, pointed out that the number of visitors increased as the cave's popularity increased. Explaining that many tourists who come to Pamukkale come to the district wondering about the travertines inside the cave, Kepenek said that they want to increase the attractiveness of the region.

50,000 visitors in the last 3 months

Expressing that the water in the cave is between 24-26 degrees, Kepenek said: "When you come here, you can easily take off your jacket and coat and visit the cave, especially in winter. Cave tourism and cave visits have become very common recently. We make arrangements based on what the citizens demand.
Kaklık Cave is a must-see place. Demand is very high. There is an ever-increasing demand whose momentum is constantly upwards. About 50 thousand visitors came in the last three months."
