Turkish Airlines (THY) General Manager Bilal Ekşi announced that they had banned 200 passengers in 2023 for not complying with the rules, and he also noted that these passengers could face administrative fines exceeding 10,000 Turkish liras imposed by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM).
Ekşi, in a statement on his social media account, urged passengers to adhere to flight rules.
THY General Manager Ekşi stated, "Neither should you be sorry nor should we be sorry. In 2023, we had to ban 200 passengers who did not comply with the rules. These passengers may also be subject to administrative fines exceeding 10,000 Turkish liras by the SHGM."
