The Mobile Library Meets Students from Balıkesir

Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu visited the Mobile Library sent to Balıkesir as part of the project initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to increase awareness about library usage and facilitate access to books.

The library, which offers facilities such as lending books, internet access, film screenings, and educational toys, was first brought to Ercan Kıvrak Primary School in our province.

During his visit to the library, Governor Ustaoğlu thanked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for providing this service to Balıkesir, aiming to bring library services to all districts and neighborhoods through the mobile library and provide access to books. Ustaoğlu stated, 'Our library will reach all districts and schools of our province. It is a place with 2,200 books, computers for our children, and sections where they can play chess and engage in various activities. I wish it brings good luck and prosperity.'

Governor Ustaoğlu, accompanied by students, toured the library and emphasized the significant contribution of the vehicle, which is equipped with laptops, desktop computers, a printer, a projector, an LCD TV, a DVD player, seating groups designed for readers, and all necessary equipment for mobile library staff, to education. During his visit to the school, Governor Ustaoğlu encountered the keen interest of the students and advised them to make use of the library resources.
