Snow is being transported to Ayder by trucks for the festival

When there is not enough snow in the Ayder Plateau of the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize, the snow is transported by trucks for the 15th Ayder Snow Festival.
Due to the fact that the air temperature is above the seasonal normals, the expected snow did not fall this year in the world-famous tourism center Ayder Plateau. Sculptures could not be made because there was not enough snow for the local architecture such as the bell, castle, house and arch bridge to be exhibited at the 15th Ayder Snow Festival, which will be held on the Ayder Plateau at the weekend. Snow was transported by trucks from 8 kilometers above the festival area to make the sculptures.
