Ghitha Holding, based in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the acquisition of a 44% stake in MNG Airlines, owned by Turkey-based MNG Holding, for 211.2 million dollars.
In a statement made to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Ghitha Holding revealed that the acquisition took place in February 2024, and specific shares representing 44% of MNG Airlines' total capital were acquired for a total of 211.20 million US dollars. The statement emphasized that MNG Airlines is a Turkey-based commercial cargo company.
Falal Amin, the CEO of Ghitha Holding Group, commented on the matter, saying, "Thanks to our goal-oriented vision, our commitment to stable growth, and our strategy based on supporting and improving the performance of our company, Ghitha Holding Group achieved impressive financial results again in 2023."
Established in 1997, MNG Airlines and Transportation provides cargo services domestically and internationally. MNG's fleet consists of 10 aircraft.
