15 thousand flights will be organized during the Eid-al-Adha
Vecihi Halil İyigün, General Manager of Başkent Transportation and Natural Gas Services AŞ (BUGSAŞ), said in a statement to the AA correspondent that the intensity that started with the holiday in AŞTİ will increase in the coming days.
Stating that they have taken the necessary precautions for the passengers to travel safely at the terminal, Iyigun said, "We have 24/7 security at AŞTİ. We have increased the number of our friends working in the private security organization here. We also have 1000 cameras. We also have the opportunity to monitor the entire AŞTİ with 1000 cameras. We have not encountered any incidents so far."

Pointing out that bus companies plan additional flights according to the density, Iyigun stated that 250 additional flights will be organized daily during the 9-day Eid al-Adha holiday.
Stating that AŞTİ is the transit point for buses going from west to east and from east to west, İyigün said:
"Definitely, buses enter, either leaving or picking up passengers. The daily average of these buses is around 3,500. This number will increase during the holiday.
In general, we estimate that the bus services will be around 15 thousand and that 1 million 300 thousand people will pass through AŞTİ during the 9-day holiday. We have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of our citizens. We will welcome and bid farewell to our citizens in our capital for 9 days.
Control over exorbitant ticket sales
On the other hand, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure teams carry out inspections at AŞTİ to prevent exorbitant ticket sales that may occur due to the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The teams that control the authorization certificate, number of passengers and ticket prices on the buses will be fined 3584 lira for the passenger without a ticket, 3584 lira for the sale of exorbitantly priced tickets, 7200 lira for vehicles and companies that make transportation without authorization, and 3584 lira for the buses that do not depart on time.
