The 5th Hakkari Snow Festival, with 16,000 attendees, has ended

The 5th Snow Festival in Hakkari, attended by approximately 16,000 people, concluded with a concert by the Pinhani band. Organized at the Merga Bütan Ski Resort, located 12 kilometers away from the city and at an altitude of 2800 meters, the festival aimed to promote winter and nature tourism. Around 16,000 people from Hakkari and various other cities participated in the festival, which lasted for two days. The municipality provided free transportation for attendees. The festival featured colorful activities including paragliding and torchlight skiing performances.

Hakkari Governor and Acting Mayor Ali Çelik expressed gratitude to the attendees of the festival. Governor Çelik, on the final day, sat among the youth to watch the concert by the Pinhani band. The youth eagerly competed to take souvenir photos with Governor Çelik by hugging him. At the festival where citizens danced and enjoyed themselves, the Pinhani band, Collective Colemerg group, and the Hakkari Municipality Art Group performed beautiful songs. The attendees, singing along to the songs, experienced unforgettable moments.
