Merna Hasan,who is one of the visitors of the ancient city, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the most striking thing here is the sphinx statue.
Hasan said, "We thought the sphinx statue was only in the pyramids of Giza. It turns out that there is a similar one here. I couldn't take my eyes off it for a while because of the amazement I had from the first time I saw the statue."
Abdullah Mahmud, said that he visited the region for the first time, and stated that he did not have detailed information about the region before.
Mahmud explained that there are a lot of rumors among the people about the region, and he said, "I have heard many stories about the incident where the women who saw Prophet Yusuf were surprised by cutting their hands because of his beuty. However, after coming here and seeing it with my own eyes, I came to the conclusion that the rumors in question were just a delusion. "
